Automatic Backwashing Disc Filter System

The Automatic Backwashing Disc Filter is a high-performance, commercial-grade filtration system engineered for modern agricultural and irrigation applications. Featuring a robust multi-unit manifold configuration, this system ensures a continuous supply of clean water while drastically reducing manual labor and system downtime.
It is ideal for protecting sensitive drip lines, micro-sprinklers, and downstream valves from organic matter, sand, silt, and other suspended sediment.

Key Features & Benefits
    • Continuous Online Filtration: The multi-vessel modular architecture ensures uninterrupted flow to your fields. While one filter housing goes through its rapid backwash cycle, the remaining units stay completely online to handle regular system filtration.
    • Smart Automation Control: Equipped with a centralized electronic control unit that initiates self-cleaning cycles based on automated time intervals or real-time pressure differential triggers.
    • Deep Disc Media Efficiency: Utilizes premium, heavy-duty stacked grooves that compress together to create microscopic three-dimensional filtration pathways. This catches more sediment deep within the element compared to basic mesh screens.
    • Precision Monitoring: Integrated real-time pressure gauge offers simple, on-site diagnostics to check standard operating pressure across input and output manifolds.
    • Corrosion-Resistant Design: Built with high-strength, UV-treated engineering polymers and industrial coatings to easily withstand harsh agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and tough weather conditions.

How the Backwash Cycle Works
  1. Normal Filtration: Water enters through the lower inlet manifold, passing from the outside to the inside of the compressed filter disc elements, leaving trapped particles behind.
  2. Detection: As debris builds up, a differential pressure transmitter detects the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet lines.
  3. Flushing Sequence: Once the preset pressure limit is reached, the automatic controller sequences a reverse water flow through the modules one by one. The compressed discs loosen up, instantly releasing the trapped grit and rinsing it out through the dedicated wastewater drain line.
  4. Reset: Once clean, the module recompresses and switches right back to standard filtration without missing a beat.
